Babies

Hi everyone!

I was talking with an Eternal Torment supporting relative the other day and they mentioned that most of the population in Heaven will be babies, because they are innocent. Babies, of course, referring to people on Earth who died as babies. They'd probably have the appearance of the form they prefer in paradise. If I had to change the diaper of a million babies in Heaven, I think that would be like hell lol. :laugh:

On the bright side, they realize how cruel it would be if God sent babies to an endless hell. :HeartThrob: On the other hand, I ask, why do the babies get to be so lucky? What about the rest of us! :doh: To preface, I find it absolutely tragic that so many babies die. But, some of those babies who eventually grow up could have become serial killers, who in my relatives eyes, believes those people go to hell. So why are they so lucky to essentially get a "free pass"?

By their flawed logic, we should start killing all babies, because then they'd have a guaranteed ticket to Heaven. If an ET believer truly loved their baby, their flawed logic supports the idea of killing it, because why risk them becoming evil and going to hell? You can even extend that to God, and say, why would He purposely create humans just to doom some of them to hell? You can quickly see how my relatives' logic starts to fall apart. And in fact, can become even potentially dangerous.

I agree with them in the sense that I also believe all babies will go to Heaven. But I extend that to the rest of humanity as well. The Bible shows that God's grace is infinite, nobody can stop it. God chooses to save everyone, so it will be done. :dsunny:
